Background and Qualifications

Sheena has had an extensive & enjoyable 25 years working with children and adults.

 

Sheena has worked in the NHS and private sectors and is 'Highly Specialist' in the following areas:

​

- Eating, Drinking and Swallowing Difficulties (Dysphagia) throughout the lifespan;

- Developmental Speech & Language Disorder and Late Talkers;

- Hearing Impairment and Deafness;

- Complex Communication Difficulties;

- Cerebral Palsy;

- Acquired and/or Traumatic Brain Injury;

- Speaking and Swallowing Difficulties after Stroke;

- Parkinsons Disease.

Qualifications: B.Sc. (Hons) Clinical Communication Studies (Speech & Language Pathology & Therapy), Post Graduate Diploma in European Health Promotion, Member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (MRCSLT), Member of Association of Independent Speech & Language Therapists (MASLTIP), and Registered with Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

She has portable Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

Gaia is our helpful, efficient Clinic Administrator, who can assist you with any queries.  Gaia looks forward to ensuring your appointment runs smoothly. 

Donna Leigh

 

Donna is an experienced teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages with experience in mentoring and counselling. Donna has DBS clearance and is available for specialised appointments or tutoring in these areas, as well as answering any questions about the website.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) History & Hispanic Studies, CELTA (Pass B), PTLLS Level 4, Level 3 Certificate of Mentoring, Level 2 Certificate of Counselling.
